REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor of Education
? Demonstrated school based leadership
? Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
? Experience in facilitating adult learning/staff development
? Five or more years of teaching experience

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

? Staff development in linking literacy and numeracy to assessment for learning, differentiated instruction and response the intervention
? Staff development in Understanding by Design and universal design for learning to support inclusive programming for all students, including students indentified as English Language Learners, special education needs and First Nations, Inuit and Metis
? Knowledge of provincial program of studies and special provisions for all provincial achievement testing
? Use of technology to facilitate staff development (e.g., cloud computing, Edmodo, Google.doc Etc)
? Other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

? Masters of Education(or equivalent)
? Knowledge and expertise of best practices in 21st instructional pedagogy
? Knowledge of budget monitoring and management
? Understanding of District policies and practices
? Knowledge of Alberta Education?s Framework for Student Learning and Alberta Initiative for School Improvement (AISI)
